I read what someone wrote at IHIQS about pulp fiction. I took their tone as sarcastic. I don't see what the hostility would be against that form of writing.
Maybe I don't understand just what it is.
I also have a few stories I want to submit here but I am trying to figure out where they fit in as far as headings go.
What if someone posts one of our stories somewhere else and claim they wrote it? |

Hi,
Pulp Fiction is a popular art and as with all of pop culture, is looked down upon by the intellectuals.
At the end of the day a story is supposed to entertain the reader first, if I want painful reflection on life, I will go look in the mirror instead of paying US$ 15 retail for the same
As regards, fitting in the story - it can span across more than one genre, for example:
Western Sci-Fi,
Noir Detective fiction,
Superhero alternate history,
etc
Google is a powerful tool and I have used the same to trace through any of my blogs or stories being copied by someone else.
I intend to create a PDF for the journals and that should reduce any easy copy-paste operation by a jerk.
I submit my stories to so many magazines, there is no way I can track what an American magazine has printed or not printed; I don't subscribe to all these mags so I just leave it on good faith that they will acknowledge my work (with my name) if they publish it.
BookWarez is still big and all famous authors suffer from piracy. So for us little ones in Literature; there is very little to loose, but a lot to gain by boldly going into the big bad world with our best work.
Hope this helps _________________ You can't teach an old dog new tricks.....
